Dominion HealthCare Services is a trusted primary care provider in Baltimore, Maryland, founded in 2015 by Angela Awuah, a family nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and over 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner. She worked in step-down units but became frustrated when she couldn’t do more for the patients given her level of knowledge. She returned to school to become a nurse practitioner, gaining more knowledge and providing better, more affordable care to her patients.
Angela pursued her nursing career at Bowie State University. She graduated in 2014 with a Masters of Science in Nursing specializing in Family Health. She is nationally board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Angela’s clinical areas of focus include Primary care, office-based addiction treatment, Weight Management, and more.
