This was my second time booking but I made her my primary doctor after the first visit. She was very attentive and listened to my issues. She also asked the appropriate questions and was made me feel safe. There's barely any wait time that I've experienced. Very sweet and warm woman. I recommend!

I could not recommend Dr. Awhua more. She made sure every concern was addressed, and she was wonderful at explaining as the process went along. For an annual physical appointment she was not rushed at all and she drew blood for the blood tests right during the appointment saving me a trip to lab corp ( and despite having difficult veins she got it on the first try completely pain free). She handles all communication herself so you really feel like you are able to reach your doctor with any concern. I feel compelled to note that she was absolutely wonderful at handling care regarding weight in a way that was both medically informed, compassionate, and non judgmental. If you are someone who has avoided the doctor in the past, or felt like your concerns were not taken seriously due to your weight I would recommend going to Dr. Awhua for an incredibly different experience.
